See: http://4X4EXPERTS.com More on Glenn: Glenn Wakefield has a passion for the out-of-doors not easily quenched. He is known in many four wheeling circles not only as a funloving jokester, but also a very serious rockcrawling fanatic. On any given weekend one may find him as easily in his Jeep or Suzuki, as on a mtn bike, backpacking, jetskiing, riding motocross, skiing, or just about anything else to do with fun and the great outdoors. Escaping the population explosion of Southern California for a home away from the crowds, he is now based in Park City, Utah and considers himself centrally located to all of the great Western 4wheeling places. However, Moab is his main haunt being so close to home. Although, rocks are his favorite place to wheel, he also greatly enjoys DEEP water/mud, desert running, and sand dunes. One trip with him racing through the desert or flying through the sand dunes and you'll know why his CB handle is "Dune Buggy". Glenn got his start fourwheeling in college when he traded in a Diesel Rabbit for his first 4WD vehicle and took that stock vehicle though the 4+ rated Hell's Revenge trail in Moab. Bitten hard by the fourwheeling bug, he soon poured his heart (and life savings) into building different vehicles. In 1997 Glenn was honored by having his vehicle being chosen as one of the top ten 4X4's in the country for the Four Wheeler magazine Top Truck Challenge. The rig he took to the event (the Zukinni) was built completely from scratch in less than one month and placed a respectable 5th place overall finish. Not bad considering he had not only never driven the vehicle, but it had never even been 'started up' before Day One of the event. Having a passion to share with others, Glenn has served as a freelance photojournalist for OffRoad magazine, and 4WD & Sport Utility magazine, as well as 4X4NOW.
