I own a 12VDC C303, and the Bosch part has died... It has a Bosch Part Number of 0 335 210 142 The local autoparts stores were not able to help. It seems that Bosch is no longer selling such items in the US market, so they do not have a cross reference part number book. The voltage on my C303 was jumping all over the place, with excursions up to 19VDC. The vehicle runs just fine, but had some problems with ham radio communications gear, so I needed to find a replacment. The old Voltage Regulator is a Bosch Numbers stamped on the housing 0190601006 AD1/14V The C303 Volvo specs call this out as a Bosch AD 14 The local parts dealer was not able to find it under the above numbers.. when they looked up in their system for a 1970 Volvo 164 (also has the B30A engine), they came up with a part number of WA709 manufactuered by Niehoff. The old unit must have replaced , or been an upgrade to, the manually adjustable regulators. It is an un adjustable sealed unit, and rather bulky. The replacement part is indeed a solid state device, much smaller/lighter but with the same bolt/mounting holes. After installation, the Voltage does wander about 14VDC, and the spikes no longer occur. Aryan... Can you find one of thiese DIN flasher units ??? Bosch no longer=20 makes the origional part, as I have checked with their US and German=20 offices. I have checked several local parts suppliers, as well as=20 emailed suppliers in: UK, Sweden, Russia and Germany. I have even=20 emailed the 'junk yards' in several European countries. I have=20 searched though Mercedes parts places, as I though they may have a=20 means of finding old German/Bosch parts, but they were of no help.=20=20 I have checked with Volvo in Sweden and the US, as well as Volvo=20 Truck dealers and new/used Volvo parts suppliers. I have sent them a photo scan of the flasher front, as well as the=20 six pin connector, with both SI and British measurement scales.=20=20 Many have not seen such an item before, especially a six terminal=20 flasher module. The part number shown on the Database section of this list (12 volt=20 conversion) does not exist as a Bosch part number. If you go on the basis of 'DIN', not any DIN flasher will work. The=20 proper DIN designation for this item is shown on the face of the=20 part and is 12V(2+1)x21W .=20 I can always find a four prong flasher module, cut off the existing=20 connector plug, and rig it to work, but would like to find the=20 proper replacement. If I were to do it this way, then I would loose=20 the dash board indicator lights. One light is on when any of the=20 flashers are in operation, and both lights are on when any flasher=20 is in operation while towing a trailer. If I could find a 12 Volt=20 flasher that fits the existing connector, then it would be a simple=20 task to do the rewiring... I'm also looking for a relay, with the same markings ... but is only 4 terminals, not 6 like yours. This is for a non-Volvo vehicle. The markings on mine are: Hella ELECTRONIC 4DM001 899-00 96EP 2+1X21W-12V Made in Germany (blue housing) The 4 pins are marked: +49, C2, -31, 49a I'm located in northern California.
