If we didn't enjoy hosting the gathering each year, it would not have continued to this point. As you can see, the trucks are simply a convenient and common link that brings some very interesting people together. This year's new driver education challenge proved to be quite successful with many folks completely unfamiliar with this type of driving becoming "hooked". I have a photo of the 5'2' tall Family Nurse Practitioner who recently joined our practice, driving my truck. She has a huge smile on her face as she atriculates over an obstacle with only three wheels on the ground. One of the other Volvo highlights for me this year was when John Van Horn discovered an Unimog fuel cap would fit the fuel filler neck of a Volvo C-series truck. This means one could use one of the locking Unimog caps in place of the stock item. I know Scott Ingham of Expedition Imports has both the locking and standard Unimog caps available. His website is: http://www.expedition-imports.com I have already posted the dates for NWMF07 on this list's calendar. Having six C-series trucks present this year was nice. I am hoping we can at least double that number next year. Please condiser that a very friendly challenge. Take care, Jim Molloy Waldersee Farm http://www.northwestmogfest.com http://www.volvo4x4.com
