(can it be regulated, foot vs windscreen) This also means that there never were any factory RHD's? Odd, in particular since the Malaysian military/police was the largest customer in that area, not? Not common for a military supplyer *not* to go out of his way to satisfy the customer.... Oh btw, I very vaguely recall having seen a Volvo C30x somewhere with BOTH opening windows (no, not the TGB1111....;)). (and I also wonder why they mounted one in the first place....only for extreme cold mornings, and quick starts?....not for something silly as firing through the window, is it? (in that case it should be the passenger who got the opening window, not the driver) Nifty concept against heat as well....the French SUMB/Simca Marmon 4x4 has a similar window (both actually, perhaps that's the one I was thinking about), as well as the Czech TAM 4x4/6x6.... -- Bye, Willem-Jan Markerink The desire to understand is sometimes far less intelligent than the inability to understand [note: 'a-one' & 'en-el'!] To: Volvo303@yahoogroups.com From: "Steve" Date: Tue, 27 Jan 2004 15:16:52 -0000 Subject: [Volvo303] Re: Foot rest heating duct? There doesn't seem to be any standards for this. Some only open on one side (either one) and some don't have the option to open at all. Steve. Hi Stu, Are you sure about the RHD conversion being done locally? By Volvo=20 Malaysia, or the Malaysian Army? I thought they were shipped in from=20 Sweden already converted. BTW when is Thunderbird 2 going to be ready for some jungle bashing? Steve.
