On your point re the Land Cruiser name not as yet being abused or "Prostituted" as I would put it, Today I nearly died when following a RAV4 the word Cruiser was signitured acroos the Toyota RAV4 sticker on the rear of the vehicle, this looked like an original Toyota sticker that is capitalising on the LC heritage. The Prado is marketed as the Land Cruiser Prado also. You may like to know that the LC was bought into OZ originally by a contractor working on a large Hydro Electric scheme 40 odd years ago. and Toyota Motor corporation Australia to my knoweldge has never never directly imported a LC into OZ in thier own right they still come in via a company jointly owned with the original importer!!! I may have a few details incorrect there but essentially thats the way it works. This may have some reason along with demand why we still get the 7x series. If anyone can confirm or dispute the above please chip in. Regards, Colin " I have a friend that works for TMCA" Pond 78 BJ40, 81 BJ42
