I had to grind one tooth to put the shaft in for 4.56's.  Well, it was reall a
matter of finely polishing one tooth, more than anythin.  4.88's will definately
require some dental work (you know, grinding teeth).  I would not grind the
cross shaft.  Taking a small amount off one or two teeth has a negligable effect
on the gears.  It's not like your racing this thing, or anything.
