Manufactured by Simex in Malaysia, home to the worlds toughest 4x4 event, the International Rainforest Challenge, comes a tyre developed to tackle the toughest 4x4 terrains found in the world. The tyre casing incorporates nylon plies and tread breakers for its durability and strength during low pressure operation under all conditions. Massive 2 stage protruding lugs, dagger cut independent blocks and deeper tread design ensure self cleaning in mud, whilst the rim protector and double protective ribs on the shoulder help fend off sharp objects from penetrating the tyre casing. A K-Plus version is also available (May 2000) with two additional aramid (kevlar) breakers for unprecedented sidewall and tread penetration resistance. The Jungle Trekker tyre is of Cross ply construction, 6 ply rating. It has a load and speed rating of 113N, this is of significant advantage over other brands of serious offroad tyres.
