Noblex PRO 175 U panorama camera

In early 1996, some people rumoured the existence of a extra large Noblex panorama camera, with a 17cm wide frame size. Back in 1994, there apparently had been an article in an English magazine about a prototype, but I am pretty sure I did not read anything about it in German mag's. Since the rumour persisted, I called the Noblex factory in Dresden, and received a simple 'Yo, den gibt es' from a leading engineer.
This beast is in production since fall 1995 (!), and has the following spec's:

How to use 220 roll film in Noblexes

Officially, medium format Noblexes only take 120 roll film officially. However, there is a neat trick to use 220 film, although you get slightly less than twice the number of frames. The below message was extracted from the Panorama Mailinglist:

Yes, you CAN use 220 film in the 120 film size Noblex. When you finish the normal amount of
exposures (6) switch the camera to the multible exposure mode. Wind the counter midway between
"6" and "S". Take the seventh exposure. Advance the knob untill the counter goes to "1" which
will be your 8th exposure. Switch the camera back to single exposure and continue shooting for
three more exposures. You should get 11 exposures on a 220 roll of film.
