Yes, in fact all OM bodies have the dimpled plate.  I have 3 of 'em.
I've been using an FE-2 with one (55 micro) lens as my IR camera because
it has a smooth plate.  Been getting good results recently too, thanks
in part to info from Jan's page and links. 

All is not lost for Olympus though.  I spoke to their service dept in NY
about the problem. He special ordered some smooth IR plates from
Olympus, Tokyo.  I'll be getting at least one of 'em so I can use all 10
of my Zuiko lenses in IR.

I have used HIE in every single-digit OM except the OM-3.  The 
dimpled pressure plate is only a problem with 87 or deeper 
filters, and only on bright scenes, at least in my experience. 
Never had any trouble with it using 70, 29, or 25 red filters.
