One thing to remember is that of GI's who worked on both the Hummer and on the previous military jeep (forgot the name, I'm sure someone will tell me), most hated the Hummer with a passion. The Marines refused to even look at Hummers for years, and right now are using relabeled Mercedes G-class SUV's for their rapid deployment forces. Their biggest complaint is the size of a Hummer -- it's enormous, and won't fit in their choppers. Having to chop out an airport in order to get their mobility isn't exactly what the Marines were thinking about when they think "rapid deployment". -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE7KXxx3DrrK1kMA04RApwhAKDAFt08IePNDm82KP34iC9+ajuH6gCfeW0Y 0qT88T4JsiGpJqGoZzUYaQE= =PPXq -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
