Data sheet on the Agfapan APX 200S extended red film
The Agfapan APX 200S is a rather unknown film in the Agfa program, intended for industrial applications like traffic and surveillance cameras. Yet these are the same applications for which the Ilford SFX200 extended red film was originally created as the SP815T.
Below the most important specifications, extracted from the Agfa data sheet:
- Spectral sensitivity: the curve starts below 400nm, peaks at 725nm and extends to 775nm.
- Exposure index: ISO 200/24, with red flash ISO 400/27, push development up to ISO 800/30, limit at ISO 6400/39.
- Diffuse RMS-grain spec (x1000): 11.
- Resolution: 150 lpmm @ contrast 1000:1, 40 lpmm @ contrast 1.6:1.
- Sensitive layer: 11 micron
- Carrier: PET 100 micron (thin polyester, to suit the long roll film applications, like the original Ilford SP815T!)
