From: Greg Overton To: fj55@birfield.com Subject: [FJ55] Celeb Cruiser Reply-To: fj55@birfield.com Date: Fri, 9 Jan 2004 08:34:12 -0600 Hey 55 lover's! We now have a celebrity joining the ranks of 55 owners. I sold my 76 FJ55 (which I will probably regret) to a Theater Director in NY by the name of Jim Simpson. Turns out he's married to Sigourney Weaver and they have a place north of the city in the Hudson Valley. Perhaps the 55 will be used to thwart the next round of ALIENS - It would make a great Ghostbuster-mobile Greg Overton gregoverton@mchsi.com Subject: Re: [FJ55] Celeb Cruiser From: Todd Kaderabek To: 55 Reply-To: fj55@birfield.com Date: Fri, 09 Jan 2004 09:36:56 -0500 > Hey 55 lover's! > > We now have a celebrity joining the ranks of 55 owners. Click on the additional photos across the bottom of the eBay page and you'll get a page of .jpgs That is a nice piggy. Has anyone seen those tail lights before? They have a certain mammary quality... Hmmm, I see 10 photos at the bottom (oops, sorry, not at the bottom of the page - it's in the main group of photos near the top - two rows of 5 photos, labelled "additional photos") Clicking on any of them brings you to this page: http://tinyurl.com/93uhr , which presents 16 photos. If you click on the thumbnails, the large photo is a .jpg and they are addressable directly, as follows: From: http://photos2.ebizautos.com/140/730575_1.jpg to: http://photos2.ebizautos.com/140/730575_16.jpg OH, your url still doesn't work - 404 error. (it could have been nasty though, there are image-servers that have an irregular number code for each image (hence no sequence/logical order), so that you can't use dedicated multi-image-grabbing software either, and have to know the exact URL for each image) (since all the images on that server, from thousands of users, are in the same directory, indistinguishable from eachother) > > > OH, your url still doesn't work - 404 error. Wish I still had it, it was a fun Cruiser and in great shape. There was a green one here in Iowa that was almost a twin to this one but I checked my pictures and this appears to be a different vehicle. No idea if Ms, Weaver still owns the red one. Perhaps it will show up as a new Ghostbuster mobile someday! Greg
