A bit of moral support for our tireless(tyreless?....;-)) flamemeister here: On the Canon EOS Mailinglist, we set the 'offtopic' mark at those topics that could have been discussed on other camera lists as well. Otherwise it runs out of control in notime, with endless discussions about filters/films/tripods/slideprojectors etc. We (I....;-)) choose to allow the questions as such, but only with a note asking for private replies....brief replies are not the problem, but ongoing discussions will simply steer away those who are interested in EOS-only (which that list was created for, just like this one). Just a point of reference.... Melancholic note: it's a virtual wonder that this list hasn't been split in geographical lists, like so many Land Rover lists have gone through....but then again, if the vehicle itself is split easily, its list should too....;-)) Willem (if only our flamemeister would spank quote-fetischists and HTML-offendors as much as chatters....;-)) Jan -- Bye, Willem-Jan Markerink The desire to understand is sometimes far less intelligent than the inability to understand [note: 'a-one' & 'en-el'!]
