Only trouble was the price - as much as the complete Toyota clutch kit :-( If you have access to anyone who deals in parts for the smaller 4 cylinder Isuzu trucks, you may want to check them out. There must be someplace in yout neck of the woods that rebuilds clutches. Find some worn out peices that you like from some old junk and get them to mix and match with new linings. I used to get all my diesel clutches done by D V Aldous & Co Ltd in Vancouver and she grumbled when I didn't bring the flywheel as well so she could speed balance the whole assembly after rebuilding. I called and asked about grafting a 2H /2F clutch disc to a 3B spline for a 13BT and they said no problem, I should just bring in a worn version of each. I'm sure one of our Vancouver listers would do the footwork if there is no closer option. Cheers, Bruce Date: Fri, 4 Jun 2004 10:57:19 -0600 (MDT) Subject: Re: [DTLC] 12' clutch disk for the 1HZ? You might want to try them, my guess is they might be able to make one for less than $50?? Good luck Dave, let us know how it comes together! I had to do lots of funky clutch related stuff for my engine, in the end after chasing down all sorts of odd part numbers and lots of phone calls the "correct" part turned out to be a Chevy 454 clutch. Which I overpaid for well over $100. Doh! Andre Date: Fri, 04 Jun 2004 10:44:39 -0700 From: Dave Tay To: dtlc@helios.net Subject: Re: [DTLC] 12" clutch disk for the 1HZ? Thanks, Bruce, that thought occured to me too but a worn out H150f clutch is hard to come by on this side of the ocean :) I also thought of getting a clutch for an HDJ78/79 as those appear to have the H150 also, but their input shaft on those is different than the HZJ80.
