DBA you can split into standard replacement discs that are slotted and cross drilled or ( which is much better ) DBA series 4000 discs that are only slotted. Alcon is using a kind of similar dis as DBA 4000 but with a 6 pot caliper. Problem is to stuff this into a 16" wheel because they need the run-flats. For the new 200 we are working on =D8 365mm DBA 4000 discs on 4 + 6 pot calipers. 18 " run Flats are now more and more available and this is the minimum wheel diametre you can use. Maarten ... I noticed that the 105 chassis was specified in part because of the more robust SFA .. has there been an evaluation of the running gear on the new 200 (equipped with independent front axle) to determine if it is satisfactorily strong? thanks...and have a nice day! They only just started to armour them because supply is very slow and contracts take time to be signed ( especially when tenders are involved ). In my opinion the 200 has a stronger chassis as it is wider + higher and has extra reenforcement in the first section. This is because the vehicle is much heavier and has more crumple zone build into this chassis. Its also because the big brother ( read Tundra ) shares partly the same chassis components. Time will tell. With best regards, Maarten Verschure, the Netherlands. BTW; We get only 100 LC 200's anually for the whole of the Netherlands, 100 for Austria, 700 for the UK and Germany and 10.500 for this side of Russia.
